Austin State Supported Living Center

The state supported living centers serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are medically fragile or who have behavioral problems. They are in need of volunteers for the following positions:

Campus Buddy – Volunteers can be partnered with a specific individual on their campus and spend time with them doing things they enjoy, like walking, playing games, bike riding, or attending activities together.

Friends of Austin State Supported Living Center board member – The Friends of AuSSLC is a non-profit organization with the mission of  providing life enriching and personal growth opportunities for the residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities that call the center home.
