Mother’s Milk Bank

The Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin saves babies’ lives by providing prescribed, pasteurized donor human milk to improve the health and lives of pre-term and ill infants.

They have recently expanded their processing lab and are seeking volunteers to assist by mixing and pouring donated milk for pasteurization. Lab hours are Monday from 11 AM to 4:30 PM and Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM and they are located near Austin Community College at Highland Mall.

Orientation, training and flexible scheduling is provided. In addition to working in the lab, volunteers are also needed to assist with administrative work and do outreach at community events.
