(NCC)- Neighborhood Conference Committee

The Travis County Neighborhood Conference Committee (NCC) is seeking volunteer assistance to work NCC logowith first time juvenile offenders. The NCC allows youth to resolve their misdemeanor offenses outside of the formal court systems and works with children ranging in age from 10 to 16.

Program Volunteers are an integral part of our program and represent the “Neighborhood” component of our NCC program. The Program Volunteers work with the youth and their family and the NCC Case Manager to establish a contract that the youth can complete. Conferences are held in a neighborhood location close to where the family resides such as a community center or a library and usually take about an hour.

All volunteers are required to complete an application and must be willing and able to complete a criminal background check. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to sign up to make a difference in a child’s life!
