Volunteer Spotlight: Ronna Keagle

Ronna Keagle volunteers with Coming of Age as a “A Matter of Balance” master trainer. As a retired physical therapist, who has worked with older adults, she understands the importance of encouraging and promoting an active lifestyle to help with falls prevention. She finds teaching and her past work experience to be a perfect match for being a trainer for the “A Matter of Balance” workshops.

Ronna also volunteers with AGE of Central Texas and the the Area Agency on Aging. During the beginning of the pandemic, Ronna was one of the only volunteers who was able to volunteer and teach classes online.

Because of the partnership with Coming of Age and St. Augustine University, Ronna provides a unique mentorship opportunity for the DPT (Doctoral Physical Therapy) students of St. Augustine.  We appreciate volunteers like Ronna and her valuable volunteer service. Thank you Ronna!
